Obituary for Bruce W. Snyder
Bruce W. Snyder Jr., age 40, of Claymont, formerly of Chester, PA, joined his mother in heaven on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
Brucey was a Boy Scout growing up. He excelled in school and graduated from the Howard High School of Technology in 2001. He worked as a carpenter for Corporate Interiors and previously for Koty Carpentry. He also worked at Dollar Magic in Claymont and had a paper route delivering the News Journal.
Brucey was a die hard Eagles fan. As a kid he played Little League baseball in Claymont. He loved campfires, taking the kids fishing, trips to Crystal Beach, listening to music and watching his favorite television shows.
Brucey is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon, and his godmother, aunt Kathleen.
Survivors include his daughter, Natalie Grace Snyder; fiancée, Victoria Gonabe; father, Bruce W. Snyder Sr.; sister, Christine Snyder; nephews, Jason and Jordan; uncles, Mark Snyder (Lauren) and Thomas Snyder (Liliann); and aunt, Jean Green (Bill).
He will be deeply missed missed by many friends and family.
Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19802. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM.
