Herbert R Davis, age 87, passed quietly at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital, Delaware on Thursday November 26, 2020.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA. Herb retired from Sun Oil Co. where he worked for many years. He was a lifetime member and past President of Millcreek Fire Company. Herb enjoyed traveling, working on cars and his loving dog Mister.
Herb was preceded in death in 2010 by his wife of over 50 years, Gladys.
He is survived by a son Thomas Davis and a daughter Rose Mary Davis both of Eddystone, PA. 2 stepchildren Frances Hackman of Delaware and Alvin Wyatt of Polk City FL. 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Burial with military honors will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE.
