Jill and Family,
So saddened to read about Jerry’s passing. I was lucky enough to travel the public school journey for 12 years with Jerry and Jack. For a guy who presented himself as quiet and reserved, when you got to him you discovered a wicked, bent sense of humor. Inspired by the movie Easy Rider, we plotted and planned how we would buy motorcycles after high school and hit the road. With nothing but fond memories, I bid him a final farewell.

It is very surreal to read about Jerry's passing. He and Jack and I were best friends through high school. Many days spent in the band room together. Jack sat next to me in the trombone section and Jerry wasn't far away in the drum section. We played chess together at lunch and hung out at the house on the weekends with black lights on listening to procol harum. We made the infamous trip to Fla in their VW bug. We could only get up to 50 mph behind a truck. I will miss my best friends. I hope you rest in peace. Until we meet again...... keep the black light on.

Jill and Marshall, I’m very saddened to hear of Jerry’s passing and offer you my sincere condolences.
I went to school with Jerry and Jack from elementary school to high school.
I remember them as two athletic, intelligent and lively people.
I would pick them up at their house on Landers Lane and drive them to DeLaWarr High and then back home many days.
I will keep both he and Jack in my memories forever.
Again, condolences.
