Obituary for Julie L. Hoffecker
Julie L. Hoffecker, 51, of Clayton, DE, formerly of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at her mothers’ home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Julie was a wonderful cook and enjoyed gardening and canning the fruits of her labors. She loved to sing and dance, watching and attending NASCAR races, and camping in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Being a lover of all animals, her home was filled with her fur babies. Most of all she loved time with family and friends.
Julie was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Ronald A. Wilson and Agnes (Kelemen) Wilson. She graduated Wilmington High School in 1989 and was employed for over 20 years as a warranty service manager at various dealerships including Price Toyota and Kirkwood Dodge.
Julie was pre deceased by her father Ronald A. Wilson.
Julie will be dearly missed by her husband of 17 years, Kenny Hoffecker, and daughter Abby, of Clayton; mother, Agnes (Agi) Wilson; brother, Jason Wilson; and nephew, Shane Wilson, all of Wilmington; aunt and uncle Christine and Joe Finnegen and numerous cousins.
The family would like to thank John from Accent Care Hospice and Heidi Peterson of Guardian Nurses for their compassion, care, and support.
A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Nichols – Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804.
Services and burial will be private.
