Obituary for Lucille J. "Mom Mom" Brown

Print
Lucille J. “Mom Mom” Brown, age 80, of Wilmington (born In Hazleton, PA) sadly passed away on
Saturday November 21, 2020.

She was a loving homemaker and was completely devoted to her family.
She really enjoyed time at her beach house in Cape May NJ. Holidays and birthdays were always huge
family events where everyone gathered at mom moms house. Her home was filled with family, the
meals were huge, and the chairs were many. The family is lost without her. There wasn’t a day that she
didn’t speak to many or all of us. Everything she did involved her children, grandchildren, or great
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert (Bob Bob) Brown III, her grandson Robert M. (Lil Bob)
Payne whom she raised. She never recovered from either of their deaths. She is also preceded in death
by her best friend & sister Nancy Lawrence, brother Charles Graham and parents Alton & Johanna
Graham.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Robert Brown Jr. who is lost without her; her children Vickie
L. Hill, Tammy A. Pigeon, Keith A Brown (Addye), Nancy C. Dolina, Wayne Scott Brown (Kathy); brother
Sonny Graham (Cathy), and sister in law Mary Jane Graham. Mom Mom is also survived by her 14
grandchildren that she absolutely adored; Angela Prince, Edward Hill, Chastity Payne, Andrew Pigeon,
Amber Williams, Michael Baker, Noah Brown, Brittney Dolina, Brianna Dolina, Brielle Dolina, Shante
Schwegel, Ashley Forosisky, Andrew Schwegel & Zachary Brown. She also had 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private as there is a limit to the number of people in attendance due to Covid.
Instead of setting up a 2nd service for friends/relatives, the family has a luncheon scheduled at 1pm on Saturday, November 28 at
the Masonic Hall located at 108 E Market St, Newport, DE 19804 where you can spend time with family
after their private services (masks required).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a donation towards
college expenses for their granddaughters whom they raised and are still in college. College
contributions can be sent to Robert Brown FBO College Expenses and addressed to 610 Greenbank
Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Please reach out to Brittneydolina1999@hotmail.com with any questions.
