Michael Karl Adams

Bear - Age 69, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2021 at home with his wife, Anne, and 4 beloved cats.

Michael was born in Reading, PA to the late Frank and Fern Adams. He grew up in Newark, DE, graduating from Christiana High School in 1970. Mike worked as an auto mechanic for many years, specializing in British cars. He retired as property manager at Holy Angels. Mike was a kidney transplant recipient, and always grateful to the Christiana Care Transplant Program for the gift of an extra 11 years of life.

Mike's hobbies included hard-hat helmet and scuba diving, model building, reading, military re-enactments and restoring antique cars. He enjoyed the beach and all things nautical. His memberships included the Delaware Underwater Swim Club, the North-South Skirmish Assoc. Third Maryland Artillery and the North American Historical Diving Society.

He is survived by his wife, Anne (nee Eastburn); his siblings, Laura Smiley (John) and Wm Scott Adams (Lisa). Also sister-in-law Lynn Savage (Gerald) and brother-in-law Don Eastburn (Diane), and 8 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 AM on Friday, May 14, followed by a 10:30 Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Rd., Newark, DE, 19711. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Mike wished that donations be made to: Forgotten Cats (feral cat rescue and release program), 4023 Kennett Pike, Suite 422, Greenville, DE 19807.

Mike was such a gifted individual. He was kind generous and loyal. He had the ability to always remain cheerful!!!! He was one of those people who made the world a better place. You will be missed by so many. May God bless you and your family.
