Obituary for Michael Quillen
Michael H. Quillen, age 57, of Newark, DE formerly of Elk Mills, MD passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in the presence of his family.
Mike worked as an industrial painter for many years. He loved his children and family and was known for his comedic sense of humor.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lillian Quillen.
Survivors include his sons, Christopher Quillen, Michael C. Quillen and Matthew Quillen; his siblings, Henry Frishkorn, Jerry Frishkorn, Jason Quillen, Julianna Quillen, and Richard Quillen (Christine) and several nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services will be at 12 noon on Thursday, March 25 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10:30. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park. Masks and social distancing will be required along with a capacity limit in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
