Obituary for Michelle A Hartis
Michelle A. Hartis, age 54, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
She graduated from St. Marks High School in 1986 and worked for Nucar Mazda and Bancroft Home Care for Special Needs Adults. She volunteered for Special Olympics Delaware. Michelle was an avid craftsperson and is best known for her creative “blocks”. She loved to eat out and was always a “happy face” to all her friends. She loved her pool and could not wait to open it in the spring.
She is survived by her loving mother, Patricia Hartis; uncle, Rich Refner (Paula Blanchet), many cousins and many friends including Bruce Malatesta and her cats, Bella and Alex.
Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Hartis; her brother, Bob in 2020 and her beloved dog, Jackson Roscoe who passed away on December 10, 2022.
Services will be private.
