Obituary for Patricia A. McDade
Patricia A. McDade, age 69, of Newark, formerly of Elmont, New York.
Pat’s suffering ended on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
Pat was a homemaker and hairdresser. She enjoyed supporting her children’s sports activities. She loved crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by her father, Martin R. Olsen and her brother, Martin R. Olsen, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jim McDade; her children, Denise Hamm (Frank), Jim McDade, Jennifer Davis (Dave), and Melissa McDade (Mike); her mother, Mary Gruelich (Ken); her siblings, Chris Olsen (Tonya) and AnnMarie Triana; her grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Frankie, Kori, Gina, Miranda, Justin, Mia, Max, Ryan, Ethan, August, and Lucas and five great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 4 pm on Sunday, March 28 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 3 pm. Masks and social distancing will be required along with a capacity limit in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
The family would like to thank the Staff at both Delaware Hospice and Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital.
