Obituary for Ronald A Francois
Ronald A. Francois, aka Ron/Ronnie/Frenchy, of Greenwood, Delaware passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the age of 68.
Ronald was born in April of 1953, to Arnold V. Francois and Alice F. Francois. The oldest of six children.
Ronald was a longtime employee of DaimlerChrysler in Newark, DE and retired after 32 years with the company. It was at this company that he met and fell in love with the love of his life Corrine K. Francois. They were married in February 1974.
Ronald was a wonderful and loving, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather that would give the world to see each and every one of his family happy! He was a very giving soul that loved Jesus and had the best sense of humor. (You could always find Ronald sticking his tongue out in a picture and he always gave the best bear hugs around!)
Ronald had a love of nature, especially the mountains and the beach, in which he shared with his family whether it be by camping, hiking, fishing, or canoeing. He was part of a bowling league for many, many years at the Blue Hen Lanes in Newark, Delaware. He was also an avid Eagles fan and loved watching all Philly sports with his family.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Arnold V. Francois and his granddaughter, Hailey A. K. Dorsey.
He is survived by his wife Corrine K. Francois; children, Amy Y. Dudley and her husband Howard, Heather F. Dorsey and her husband Timothy, Jared A. Francois and his wife Candice; grandchildren Katarina, David, Elyce, Timothy Jr, Delaney, Destiny and Derek; and great granddaughter, Rosaleen; mother, Alice F. Francois; siblings, Don, Connie, Bonnie, Robert and Patti and their families and many cousins.
A Celebration of Life for Ronald is planned for Saturday, June 26th 2021 starting at 12pm. There will be a small service held during the celebration. The celebration is being held at his residence, the address is 4 Hollyhock Dr. Greenwood, DE 19950.
