Rosemarie "Abbey" Mombro, age 85 of Newark.
Our Angel Abbey went to Heaven to be with The Lord on Monday, December 5, 2022.
Abbey retired from Acme where she worked in the deli for over 30 years. She prayed the Rosary every day. Abbey enjoyed day trips with her daughter, her sissy Janet and niece Dana, watching Hallmark movies and The Golden Girls. She loved peanut chews, cheese fries and spending time with family and friends.
Abbey was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Rossillo; brothers, John and Joe Mombro and nephew, Anthony Mombro.
Survivors include her daughter from the heart, Rosemarie Rossillo; brother, Anthony Mammaro; sister-in-law, Janet Mombro; grandchildren, Gabriella Rossillo, Jules Rossillo, Anthony Seward (Ashley) and Brandon Seward; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Kaedynn, AJ, Annabelle and granddaughter from the heart, Juanita Hernandez.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 10 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis Street, Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am. Burial will be private.
