Obituary for Salvador “Chava” Hernandez Garcia
Salvador “Chava” Hernandez Garcia, age 46, of New Castle, DE formerly of Zacapu Michoacan, Mexico, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
Chava worked for Fedor’s Landscaping for the past 23 years. He was a hardworker. He enjoyed watching soccer, especially Monarcas and listening to music, especially rock band “Mana”. He loved his German Shepherds, D.O.G and Sombra.
Chava was preceded in death by his grandparents, Salvador Hernandez-Gallardo and Amalia Garcia.
Survivors include his mother, Margarita Hernandez-Garcia; Sisters, Yoreli Hernandez-Garcia and Ana Hernandez-Garcia; uncle, Eloy Hernandez-Garcia (Maria Elena Bedolla; cousins, Juan, Carlos (Alejandra), Ana (Brandin), Gera and Andy and other extended family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6 pm on Friday, December 30 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 82 Possum Park Rd, Newark, DE 19711 where visitation will begin at 4:30 pm. Burial will be in Mexico.
