Obituary for Sandra Zimmerman
Sandra Kay Zimmerman, age 66, of Claymont, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
Sandy was born in Harrisburg, PA and moved to Delaware in 1961. Sandy was a proud graduate of Claymont High School. Sandy worked as an Incorporation Specialist for The Corporation Trust Company for 25 years. She went on to work for the Williams Law Firm and completed her career as an Administrative Assistant for Five Star Senior Living- working for both Somerford and Millcroft. She loved being around people, especially her daughter. She enjoyed cruises and any time spent at the beach. You would often find her laughing with family and friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Ann (Maloney) Zimmerman and her sister, Carolyn.
Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Williams and her husband Stephen; her brothers, John Zimmerman (Mary) and Harry Zimmerman Jr (Ceil) and her beloved nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at this time. Stephanie will be planning a Celebration of Life gathering at a later time.
