Obituary for Sharon Jean Jones
Sharon Jean Jones, age 57, of New Castle, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Sharon worked in the banking industry for many years. She enjoyed crafting with her grandson and had a passion for reading.
Sharon was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Marie; mother, Barbara Jean Jones-Pierce; her stepfather, William Pierce and her sister-in-law, Cindy Jones.
Survivors include her son, Scott Jones; her daughter, Shannon Meadows (Brad); her grandson, Nathan Liam; her siblings, Francis Jones (Debbie), Cindie Rainier (Gene) and Donald Jones; and her father, Francis E. Jones Sr (Marlene).
Visitation for family and friends will be from 12 noon to 1 pm on Tuesday, January 19 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804. Masks and distancing will be required, and capacity is limited. The memorial service will be private.
