Obituary for Stephen L. Sharrow
Stephen L. Sharrow, age 68, of Bear, formerly of Williamsport, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
Steve graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1972 and then continued on to Pennsylvania State University, where he played baseball and football.
Steve was a member of the Penn State Alumni Association. He enjoyed golfing, watching the Boston Red Socks, and rooting for the San Francisco 49ers and the Penn State Nittany Lions. He was known for his quick wit and gifted storytelling. Steve had a huge heart and was loved by all who knew him.
Steve is in the Little League Hall of Fame for pitching 7 consecutive no-hitters in his 12-year-old season at Newberry Little League (1967).
Steve is preceded in death by his son, Phillip David Sharrow and his parents, George and Mabel Sharrow.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Debbie Sharrow; daughter, Jessica Sharrow; son, Bryan Sharrow (Juliet); brothers, Mike Sharrow (Marcie) and Bill Sharrow; and 3 grandchildren.
