William A. "Bill" Braddock

Wilmington - Bill, age 91, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at home.

Bill was a P.S. DuPont High School graduate and was the owner of Braddock Transfer for many years. Previously, he was a Wilmington police officer. Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 34. He enjoyed bowling, bingo and spending time with his family.

Bill was preceded in death by his former wife, Jane Braddock in 1998 and granddaughter, Kimberly Baxter.
Survivors include his daughters, Barbara Baxter (Edward) and Deborah McClafferty (James) and Carol Redding (Robert Jr) and Janice Savage (Rich); his grandchildren, Chrystal Beaver (Brian), Jessica Savage (Michelle), Ashley Savage (Brandon Handlin) and Amber Savage (April Savage) and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 27 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am. Masks and social distancing will be required along with a capacity limit. Burial will be at Lombardy Cemetery.
